How To Ask People to Give More Money to Church: A Teleconference with Howard Anderson

Please join me this Thursday, September 29, at 9 Pacific/10 Mountain/11 Central/12 Eastern Time, for a one hour conference call conversation with Howard Anderson on the topic “How to Ask People to Give More Money to Church.”

The Rev. Canon Howard Anderson is rector of the Parish of St. Matthew in Pacific Palisades, California. He served on the Episcopal Standing Commission on Stewardship and Development. As Stewardship Officer for the Diocese of Minnesota, he worked extensively with clergy and congregations to help them confront their history with money both as communities and in their families and family of origin. He is a long-time student of family systems thinking, and was a student of Edwin Friedman. Immediately prior to coming to California he was Warden and President of The Cathedral College (College of Preachers) at The Washington National Cathedral.

To join the teleconference, e-mail me at Margaret@margaretmarcuson.com with your interest, and I’ll send you call-in information. If you can’t make the call, a recording will be available. There is no charge for the teleconference (long-distance charges apply) or the recording.
