The Leadership in Ministry workshop provides in-depth training in Edwin Friedman’s application of Bowen family systems theory to congregations. I’ve been teaching in the workshop since 1999, and it has offered family systems training to clergy and other church leaders since 1992. This year it will take place in Boston, West Virginia and near Portland, Oregon. It’s a twice-yearly event. I think it’s one of the best ways to work on yourself in ministry.
