Leaders practicing an easier, more effective way to lead

Every month, hundreds of leaders get a free shot in the arm through The Leadership Adventure, a short and insightful essay on leadership by Margaret Marcuson that reflects on how leaders can deal with specific challenges that face them.I read The Leadership Adventure faithfully each month and look forward to its arrival. I pass along individual essays to folks on my congregation council, call committee, my wife (a high school principal), and anyone else I know in a leadership position. I find the essays interesting, inspirational, and thought provoking. They are brief enough to use as an opening for a meeting and general enough to be useful in a wide range of contexts. I especially like the fact that they contain no lists, e.g., "seven habits of highly compulsive people..." The Leadership Adventure can assist anyone to be a more able and confident leader in any setting or context.

“Every month I look forward to receiving Margaret’s The Leadership Adventure, a reflection on the imaginative challenges facing leaders today. Each essay emphasizes that for Margaret leadership is akin to discovering new worlds, and that the opportunities for such leadership occur every day for each of us. Through these writings Margaret’s wonderful sense of humor, her delight in the field of work she has chosen, and her expertise in helping leaders be clearly defined and functioning appropriately come through over and over again”To subscribe to The Leadership Adventure and receive the article “How To Avoid Burnout in Ministry,” subscribe to our newsletter to the left.
